Bistrot Cinq is a French restaurant that also serves Caribbean delicacies.
Breakfast starts at 6:45 AM and specials such as toast topped with strawberries, papaya, or mango, and omelets made with fresh vegetables will give you plenty of sightseeing fuel. After such a big breakfast, don't count on eating much for the rest of the day. For lunch, try the quiche or the Brie plate; the homemade pies and pastries are also notable. You can eat in the café's airy dining room or grab a cappuccino and a sweet roll at Café Condesa Express next door. Either way, the location right on the Parque Central can't be beat. - Fodor's review
Once this homey restaurant switched from Mexican to Asian cuisine, it never looked back. The friendly proprietors serve a menu that includes Thai curries, Chinese noodles, and Indian vegetable dishes. Be careful -- some of the dishes, especially the curries, are quite spicy. Asian food aficionados will find the food not at all like the real thing, but Antigua is, after all, about as far from the source as you can get. On weekends the restaurant is open until midnight. There's live piano music nightly. The restaurant is popular with the many students studying Spanish in Antigua. [Fodor's Annotation]

Considered to have one of the best views from their rooftop bar.
There are two Asjemenou restaurants - this one is on 5th street just southwest of the central park. They claim to have the best pizza in Antigua.
Arte, bel canto, una amplia lista de vinos y la genuina cocina italiana en la más fascinante ciudad colonial de las Américas.
Part of the Iglesida del Camino, this café is open weekdays 9am - 5pm and serves 100% local La Azotea coffee, ceviche, cappuchino, typical breakfast, and economic lunches. Also offers free Wi-Fi. I believe there is also a collection of books that can be borrowed, though most are of a religious nature.
Supposed to be one of the better steak houses in Antigua.
On the corner of 4a Calle Poniente and Calle de Arco on the north side of the park you will see a restaurant called "Chimino's.com." Sounding more like a website than a restaurant, the passerby may never step foot inside this place. Do not let that be your regret once you leave Antigua. Without a doubt this is a restaurant that should be sought out while there.
Located in a painstakingly restored 1650 home, restaurant/bakery Doña Luisa Xicotencatl, S.A. — named after conquistador Pedro de Alvarado’s faithful companion — has become an institution in Antigua with an international following for its bread. Every day, locals and tourists alike line up in the bakery for whole wheat bread, carrot cake, raisin bread, banana bread, cakes and desserts. Many more patrons visit for a leisurely breakfast, lunch or dinner from a menu offering 69 items. (source: Candelaria’s Antiguas Virtual Library)

Frommer's Review:
You can't find a much cozier place in Antigua than this corner restaurant, which features wood furniture, a chalkboard menu, and dim lighting, even during the day. If you're lucky, or early, you can grab the back table set on a raised platform beside a bay window. There's a range of reasonable pasta dishes and panini. For something more substantial, I recommend the rabbit in rosemary sauce. They also have beer on tap and a good wine list.

Fernando's Kaffee is a popular place (mostly for tourists) to grab breakfast, lunch or a snack as well as a good cup of Guatemalan coffee. The prices are reasonable and service is friendly and quick.

Japanese restaurant
Black-T-shirted waiters scurry around, serving up a delicious selection of light café fare, the foundation of which is various pastas and crepes. Accompany your meal with gourmet coffees or smoothies topped off with a vanilla, mango, chocolate, or pistachio gelato-form dessert. The decor is minimalist chic; there are brick walls and an exposed high-beam ceiling, and you're seated at a glass table on a stool covered with a burlap coffee sack. The view out the front door is the stark Compañía de Jesús, the colonial ruins of the Jesuit church, bathed in a soft, mysterious light each evening. If you come here for dinner, make it an early one; the place closes at 8 PM. [Fodor's Annotation]

La Cenicienta (which means Cinderella) is a favorite with many, though I confess I haven't tried it myself...
Café, restaurant and garden. Special events and catering. Breakfast buffet from 8:00-11:00 on weekends.
A popular restaurant - actually a bar (or 2?) and 2 restaurants (one Greek) but one main menu. What's special about La Escudilla is their daily specials, which rotate on a 2-week basis. Occasionally there is a daily special that isn't part of the menu as well.
Somos una familia de tres Restaurantes que cuentan con un ambiente acogedor y una estructura colonial que con famosos refranes en las paredes dan un toque especial. Meson Panza Verde was established in 1986 as one of the first European style bed and breakfasts in Antigua, Guatemala. Ideally located at the quiet end of famous Fifth Avenue, it is a pleasant five minute walk from Antigua's main Plaza and Cathedral down a cobble stone street past wonderful ruins and delightful shops.

People often ask about our name. Panza Verde is what generations of Antigüeños have called themselves. No one is quite certain of the true story, but it is said that the people who remained here after the Capital was moved to Guatemala City were so poor that they had to subsist on avocados. Being a Panza Verde is mentioned with great pride.

Our restaurant is considered one of the finest in the country. Its reputation for "international cuisine with a twist" has made it a favorite with Guatemalans and international travelers alike.

This place is a favorite for breakfast, although it serves great food (and great coffee) for lunch and dinner, as well. Sometimes it has live music at night. Very popular with students, this establishment is part restaurant, part bookstore (with a wide selection of English-language books), and part discount travel agency. There's lots of vegetarian food here.
Possibly the biggest wiener schnitzel you've ever seen, alongside some good-value set lunches and the sort of beer list you'd expect from a German restaurant.
Mostly a pizza place though the menu includes other items as well. Happy hour each day from 5:00 to 7:00. The owner is Guatemalan but lived for a number of years in Canada.
